Hello, and thank you for visiting my studio site!

I have taught piano for 30 years to hundreds of happy students. I believe making and creating music is not only fantastic brain work for all ages, but completely feeds our souls and artistic side in a way that no other activity is able. My greatest goal in working with a student is helping them to learn to LOVE making music, and giving them the skills to make that happen. I am most happy when I hear a student has continued to play years after they have taken lessons.

My studio is located in downtown Boulder, in the YWCA building . My  studio is equipped with two pianos and an electronic station for computer theory lab and electronic sampling work.

All students are provided with a private/group format. Each month includes private lessons, and one group lesson for focus on theory, performance, history, and improvisation. Students are provided with 3-4 recitals per year, and 2-3 Festival opportunities per year. Individualized theory, sight-reading, and sampling assignments are included before each private lesson. Lessons are highly individualized to each student’s talents, needs, and abilities.
